This notice explains how Nestwell Advisory handles information provided through this website. Nestwell Advisory is responsible for the website enquiry process. Personal insurance advice is provided by Sharleen Kumar, operating under IFO Peace of Mind Advice Limited.
What we collect and why
If you choose to use our enquiry form, we ask for your first name, email address, a broad enquiry topic and confirmation that you agree to this use of your details. We use this information to respond, arrange a conversation and manage your enquiry. Providing these details is voluntary; without contact details we cannot reply.
Please do not submit medical information, policy numbers, identity documents, financial records or information about another person through this website. Any later advice or insurance application follows the responsible adviser’s separate secure process and privacy information.
Who receives your enquiry
Enquiries are available to the authorised Nestwell website administrator and adviser. Notifications are sent to [email protected] and [email protected]. We use Hostinger for website hosting, Cloudflare for site delivery and protection, and Google’s Gmail services for those mailboxes. These providers may process information outside New Zealand. We do not automatically send enquiries to insurers, referral partners or marketing platforms. Any specialist introduction involving your details requires a separate discussion and your permission, unless disclosure is otherwise required or permitted by law.
Storage, access and deletion
Website enquiry records are restricted to authorised administrators. They are kept until manually deleted rather than removed on an automatic schedule. We review records and remove information when it is no longer needed for the purpose of the enquiry or an applicable lawful obligation. Email copies are managed separately in the recipient mailboxes; deleting a website record does not remove a mailbox copy.
Hosting security logs, backups and mail-provider records may have their own operational retention and deletion cycles. The enquiry register does not retain a raw IP address. Short-lived, salted rate-limit identifiers help prevent misuse and expire after a brief period.
Website technology and links
We do not enable advertising pixels or automatic marketing subscriptions through this website. Cloudflare provides operational performance measurements using its Web Analytics beacon. Cloudflare describes this service as privacy-focused and says it does not collect visitors’ personal data. Read Cloudflare’s Web Analytics information for details. Essential cookies may be used for WordPress sign-in and site administration. Hosting systems may process technical information needed to deliver and secure the site. Fonts and displayed images are hosted with the website. Links to IFO or other external websites lead to services with their own privacy notices.
Your privacy requests
You can ask to access or correct information we hold, request deletion where appropriate, or raise a privacy concern by emailing [email protected] or [email protected]. We may need to verify your identity before responding. Do not email sensitive documents unless an appropriate secure process has been agreed.
If you are dissatisfied with our response, you can contact the New Zealand Office of the Privacy Commissioner. Information is kept only while needed for a lawful purpose, consistent with Privacy Principle 9. Information handled as part of IFO’s advice process is also subject to IFO’s privacy policy.
